Love comes in many forms, one of which is compassion. If you’d like to bring compassion into your life, connect with Kuan Yin, who is known as the Goddess of compassion. Pray to her, or sit in meditation and ask her to come to you. She has soft, sweet, energy…but don’t confuse it with weakness. This is one strong Goddess. I’ve found that she doesn’t always have a specific message for me…sometimes she comes along and simply wraps me in a blanket of love and compassion. However she chooses to show herself to you will be the way that you most need her.
Additionally, you can work with aquamarine. When I hold a piece of aquamarine while connecting with Kuan Yin, I find that the energy comes in quicker. Aquamarine attracts the energy of compassion…compassion for yourself, for others, and from others…whether or not you choose to connect with Kuan Yin. Hold a piece of aquamarine when you need a boost of compassionate energy, or keep it in your pocket. I even use it in the jewelry that I create.
These are just two of the ways I use to bring compassion into my life. What do you do? I’d love to hear your ideas.

I love Kuan Yin! One of my faves. I have her all over my house. I use her and other strong feminine energies as visuals for compassion; Mary, Rhiannon, Danu, etc. I also try to be more compassionate with myself and others because that creates more compassion for me.
Robin, Thank you, Very valid words “Having Compassion for oneself” especially on Valentine’s Day when you don’t currently have a significant “other”.
I too, find that sometimes Spirit just wants me to sit & “feel” the loving compassion coming from them, just to let me know they are there and supporting my journey.
I’m finding many people have such harsh & negative language & thoughts towards themselves . . . it’s astounding to me. I wasn’t even aware of how much my own thoughts were demeaning until I was made aware of it either.
Our inner world reflects our outer world. We all need to be much more compassionate to ourselves. Happy Valentine’s Day to all & do something nice for yourself today!
It’s interesting you bring up the subject of our own thoughts. Even though I watch for my own negative language, I’m amazed at how many times I fall into the trap myself.
It was recently pointed out to me that I have a habit of saying “I’m just a sales-girl at the store”. If I simply shift that statement to “I’m a sales-girl at the store”….I change the entire vibration of the sentence, which in turn, changes the impact it has on me. Interesting how one word can carry such an impact.
Peace, sister….
