We realize that your ego has a tendency to go into survival mode when it’s not necessary (ie:drama and trauma). When this happens, you have some options. You can choose to listen to it, you can choose not to, or you can choose to gather more information before making your final decision. If your ego is not speaking loving, supportive words, chances are you won’t want to act on what it’s suggesting—at least not without further investigation.
So again we say, why transcend your ego? Learn how to work with it instead. Learn its various nuances. Pay attention to when it’s warning you of real danger and when it’s actually just viewing change as a threat. Make friends with your ego, love your ego…after all, it’s an integral part of who you are.
