What are you waiting for? When are going to go after your dreams? When are going to stop letting everything else stop you from being who you were meant to be and doing what you were meant to do?
Look, life is never going to be problem free so you might as well do what you need to be happy now. Seriously, it’s just a choice. You can choose to be happy or you can choose not to be happy.
You can choose to let life run you or you can choose to have dominion over your life.
I get it. I really do. I’ve been in that place where I let my emotions run my life. I’ve been in that place where I let other people’s thoughts and beliefs run my life. I’ve been in that place where I’ve done the “right thing”. And do you know where it got me?
It got me to broke, broken, and lonely.
Until I said, No Fucking More!
I made the changes I needed to make so I could take back my life.
And I’m not going to try and kid you. It cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars to do it. It got me on food stamps and I became dependent on other people’s support in order to be able to live.
I sold everything I could think of selling and started investing in my personal development. I racked up tons of debt doing it. I moved out of my big beautiful house without my kids. As a matter of fact, that was 8 years ago and I’m just now getting them back.
But here’s the thing. I was fucking dying inside before I made the shift. My soul was felt like it was almost completely dead.
And, I knew I had to do something if I wanted to live to see another day. If I wanted to be here to see my kids grow up. If I didn’t want to leave them with a legacy of a mother who killed herself.
So yeah, I get it. I know it’s damn fucking hard to make the changes. But what other choice do you have?
And I’m telling you something else. You can’t let money stop you. Not it if you really want to live and thrive. Not if you don’t want to leave a legacy for your kids that says, “I didn’t think me and my life meant enough to be worth investing in myself.” Cuz ya know what that teaches them? That they aren’t worth the investment either. And that’s just plain bullshit.
