The Clearing You Didn’t KnowYou Needed

This  3:42 clearing covers everything you need to get things running smoothly so you can get back to what you do best.

Meet Roxie :)

We welcomed a new addition to our family today.  Her name is Roxie.  She’s a 3 year old terrier/basset hound mix and she’s had a lot up and downs in her short life.

We don’t know a whole lot about her other than she was loved by an older couple who got her from a shelter.  Unfortunately, the couple had to relocate from Florida to a retirement community in Minnesota and they couldn’t bring Roxie. So, Roxie was brought to an amazing rescue in Arkansas called Rocky Ridge Ridge.  Check out their Facebook page, if you like animals, you’ll love their page.  They specialize in rehabilitating animals who are sick or abused.

Roxie lived at Rocky Ridge for a little while amongst dogs, cats, goats, pigs, capybaras and more. However, they are a rescue and Roxie needed to find a home so that new dogs could come in.  When I saw her picture on Facebook, I immediately fell in love and David, who when I met him said he didn’t want kids or animals (I have both), said Angel needed a sister and she seemed perfect.

Now, I have never adopted a dog without having met it first, but I knew (and so did David) that Roxie belonged with us.  Everything fell perfectly into place much faster than we expected.  We were planning on bringing her home in mid August after we dropped my son off at college.  Instead, here she is…one week after submitting the adoption application.

This poor baby is so exhausted and she’s so sweet.  Between May and August, she’s changed homes twice, moved from Florida to Arkansas, got spayed, and then just when she was comfortable in her new home, she took the long ride from Arkansas to New Jersey.  Poor Angel is dying to play with her but she’s tired and not ready for his energy level yet.  Considering everything, it hasn’t been bad.  We’re trying to learn Roxie’s language so we know when she needs to go out…and we’re trying to teach her to ring the bell like Angel does when he needs to go potty.  Plus, she’s not crazy about the crate, but Angel loves his, so she’s going to have to learn to love hers.  Treats are the key.

Our intention and prayer is to create a loving, stable home for both these dogs to live in until they leave the planet.

And David, who as I said, didn’t want animals, will be babysitting two 3 year old pups for a week on his own.  I hope he’s still talking to me when I get back.  🙂

I’m going back to my semi-hiatus now.  As you may have noticed, I haven’t been sending many emails and have only been keeping you up to date about classes.  I’ve been really tired and have been selective about taking on new clients at the moment.  The funny thing is, my income has not been affected.  I’m telling you that because so often the steps we are asked to take to support ourselves don’t make any sense.  You can look at this as another example of how when you honor yourself and your needs, everything is taken care of.

Speak to you soon!

Much love and abundant blessings,
