The Daily Clearing

The Clearing You Didn’t KnowYou Needed

This  3:42 clearing covers everything you need to get things running smoothly so you can get back to what you do best.

Choosing Something Different

Well, I made it through Phase 1 of the cleanse.  I cannot even begin to tell you hard it was.  I know there are people who do cleanses all the time with little to no problem.  I am not one of them.  I’m only a couple of days into Phase 2 and while it’s much easier (much much easier), it comes with it’s own challenges.  My body, while still obese, is now finding it easy to function in day to day life.  I get very slightly winded going up the stairs sometimes, but it’s not a big deal.  I have more strength and resilience than I can ever remember…even more than when I was thin and worked out all the time.

So, where’s the challenge?  Okay, the challenge is in continually choosing change, smaller body size, and optimal health over being comfortable.

Previously, everything I did was challenging…including sex. It’s easy to choose change when things are hard.  Now, I don’t have to make adjustments in order to comfortably fit in most spaces.  Plus, the cravings are showing up like mad now. Before, I wanted avocado and asparagus.  Now, I want pizza, pizza, and pasta.  I’m feeling comfortable and want more comfort food.

It’s interesting to see how I actually use comfort as a way to hurt myself, isn’t it?  What about you?  Do you do something like in any areas of your life?  Are you doing with it your job, relationship, exercise routine, etc?  We like to stay in our comfort zones as a way of staying and feeling safe.  What if it’s not keeping you safe at all?  What if it’s actually hurting you?

How am I getting through this?  Choice, Target, and Priority.  My priority is to have a healthy body and right now, this cleanse is still in resonance with what’s required to create that target.  I continually look at and re-evaluate my target and my priority.  I continually choose to stay with it or not.  I can stop whenever I want, but one of my choices is to choose what feels light and expansive as often as possible.  Stopping the cleanse feels heavy and constricted.  Continuing feels expansive…even if the expansiveness also feels scary and somewhat uncomfortable.

The bottom line is this, I am choosing something different….comfortable does not get you something different.  I am willing to choose uncomfortable in order to get something different.  Are you?

If you’re willing to choose uncomfortable but don’t know how to do that, email me  at robin@robinlinke.com for a free 20 minute Possibilities Session and let’s see what’ actually possible for you.

Much love and abundant blessings,
