The Clearing You Didn’t KnowYou Needed

This  3:42 clearing covers everything you need to get things running smoothly so you can get back to what you do best.

Why Can’t Things Just Be Easy?

How many times have you asked, “Why can’t things just be easy for once?”  If you’re anything like me the answer is probably more times than you can count. The thing is they are easy…just not in the way you think.

Before you throw your computer at me, let me explain what I’m talking about.

Our brains are wired to conserve energy and do things the easy way. The problem is you and your subconscious don’t always have the same definition of easy. For you, easy might be doing things in flow, not having to constantly deal with problems, issues, and roadblocks. Your subconscious’s definition of easy is doing things on repeat. It’s the stuff that’s familiar. It’s the stuff that doesn’t require creating new neural pathways.

What you need to understand about that is if you are used to experiencing painful and hurtful situations your unconscious is going to do its best to hang onto the behaviors that keep you in that loop because it’s way easier and safer than changing…even though living life that way is not aligned with your definition of easy.

So, if you are someone who has experienced financial distress over and over, it may be hard on you but it’s super easy for your unconscious to process. It knows exactly what neurons to fire, how to activate the central nervous system, what thoughts to produce…it knows the recipe for surviving financial hardship by heart. So it’s actually easier from the unconscious’s perspective to stay stuck, poor, and add to your debt than it is to take the constant and consistent actions required to change your money stuff. It takes more brain power to change than it does to stay the same…

So what the hell are you supposed to do?

Trick your unconscious with small, consistent actions that support the reality you want.

For example, there are apps that round up your purchases to the next dollar and put that money in a savings account.  Usually, these small amounts of money aren’t noticeable enough to set off your unconscious alarm system or mess with your bank account.

Daydreaming is really effective too. Yes, I know. Your mother told you to get your head out of the clouds and pay attention ad infinitum.  Well guess what? I’m giving you permission to get your head back in the clouds and start daydreaming.

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s imagined…as long as what’s imagined has a good amount of emotions attached to it. The more time you spend imagining what it would feel like to live in your dream home, the easier it will be for you to get it. Your unconscious will start to get used to feeling good about the upgrade and will reward you by placing your focus on opportunities that will help you to actually have it. Your job is to follow through on those actions.  And voila’!  Here’s your dream house.

Yes, I over simplified getting the dream house a bit.  I did that to give you a bird’s eye view of what I’m talking about. Of course, how long it takes, what your action steps are, and your ability to say Yes to your dream house will all factor into it.

What are you waiting for? Get out there and go get your dream!
