During this week’s energy forecast (https://youtu.be/dIH4ZZytuhg ), we were talking about how you smack yourselves down by denying certain parts of you. Some of you do it violently and some of you do it quietly.
When you do it violently, you put yourself down and you say things like “I’m so stupid”.
When you do it quietly, you do it by denying yourselves things that bring you joy or relax you….or they are such a deep part of you, you feel compelled to do them.
Did you know that I still have a hard time saying I’m an author and writer? I have two books on Amazon and one of them was a best seller. (They’re “The Little Book of Big Insights” and “The Little Book of Bigger Insights” if you’re interested) The reason I have a hard time accepting that I’m an author and writer is because the majority of what I write, whether it’s a facebook post or copy for my website or a book is because it’s channeled. “I” didn’t write it. The angels gave me the information.
But here’s the thing, I’m compelled to write. I can’t not write. It’s actually one of my personal secret weapons when it comes to my own healing. It doesn’t matter if I’m a good writer or not. I am a writer. And when I stopped tolerating my propensity for not admitting that I’m a writer….and when I started accepting that my talent or lack thereof has nothing to do with it, my life got lighter, my dreams got sweeter, and I got a whole lot happier.
So, what is it for you? Where are you cutting yourself off from you? What are you not doing that is so deeply etched in your soul you feel like you’re dying by not doing it?
