It’s easier to make changes when you have someone who’s in your corner. Someone who supports you. Someone who loves and accepts you as you are right now, but also stubbornly holds the vision of who you want to be….especially during the times when you feel so far removed of who you want to be….who you know you can be, who you really are.
I am truly blessed. I have many of those people in my life. They remind of what I’ve already accomplished when I forget. They remind me of what I already know when I forget. They remind of my vision when I forget. And I get to do the same for my clients.
Do you have someone in your life who does that for you?
It’s great if your family is able to do that. It’s awesome if your partner is able to do it too. But sometimes they can’t. Sometimes it’s a burden they can’t bear.
Why would supporting you and your vision be a burden to the people who love you most?
Because sometimes they are afraid of that vision. It messes with their status quo. They know it’s going to change you.
When you change, their lives change and that’s freaking scary to them.
They’ll sabotage your efforts. Not because they don’t love you. Not because they don’t want to see you succeed, although it could be part of it.
It’s because they aren’t ready to change yet.
So what happens when you don’t feel supported by your loved ones?
You take it personally. You become resentful. Oftentimes, it creates a chasm in your relationships that’s so big, it can’t be closed or bridged.
You go after your vision and leave everyone else behind.
Or
You give up your dream, even though it’s giving up a piece of your soul.
This is gonna sound weird and completely unrelated, but if this is your experience or your fear, then you are not living an abundant life.
You don’t really believe in the abundance of the Universe and you are not aligned with prosperity.
A person with a prosperity mindset will know there’s another way even if she can’t see it yet.
She’ll be the Powerful Freaking Goddess she already is and will fiercely love the people who can’t support her and she’ll find the support she needs elsewhere.
She’ll ask her friends for help.
She’ll get a coach or mentor to help her.
She won’t do it alone.
And…….
She won’t hold it against the people who can’t support her. And even if she has to cut ties or burn bridges in order to realize her dream, she’ll understand that it’s not happening because there’s something wrong with her.
She’ll know it’s happening because she and they are not in alignment with each other and the vision she has for her life.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
And she’ll move forward leaving a trail of sparkles and blessings in her wake.
